Addressing Your Needs

Most of our clients are strong, independent women who have experienced something that affected their way of life. For some, it may have been divorce, or loss of a loved one, while for others, it may have been starting a new job or business. Regardless of their situation, they want to take back or maintain control of their financial lives. These women realize they need to make their financial affairs a priority in order to work toward their unique life goals, but they are busy with balancing their personal and professional lives. They need a financial planner to guide them and help them to stay on track with their financial benchmarks and goals. That’s where we come in.

Gretchen's own experiences fueled her desire to help women through many circumstances that may affect their finances, and as Gretchen Meyer Financial has grown, these experiences continue to guide our mission. We work with a variety of women who are experiencing a variety of circumstances. These circumstances may include:

  • Getting married or starting a family
  • Preparing for or managing an inheritance
  • Caring for elderly parents
  • Establishing financial independence following divorce or death of a spouse
  • Starting a business, changing careers, or accepting a new position

Our clients often come to us through personal referrals, and they usually share the same three concerns:

    • How do I adjust to my new circumstances?
    • Where do I go from here?
    • How do I protect my future?

To address your concerns, together we will:

    1. Create your Personal Income Plan, finding the money to pursue your financial goals
    2. Develop a Three‐Bucket Investment Strategy, ensuring your current, mid and long term income needs
    3. Participate in our Women and Wealth Community, a series of events and newsletters designed to educate, engage and build confidence among our clients
